Vineland Physiotherapy
Vineland Physiotherapy treatment will be 1:1 so that protocols can be followed and a safe environment is provided. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will also offer a free telephone consultation with our physiotherapist to help determine your requirement for emergency physiotherapy or to answer general questions about physical issues.
According to the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, situations that could be considered an emergency include:
- An acute injury, such as an ankle sprain, which may need to be assessed to be a possible fracture
- Post-surgical care that is required, where not receiving treatment would put a person at high risk of a poor rehabilitative outcome
- Pain that deems a person unable to function or work, such as, but not limited to, severe low back or neck pain, elbow or knee pain, etc.
- It also can be beneficial to consult a physiotherapist on a one-to-one basis first, before going to an emergency room, for an acute musculoskeletal (muscle or joint) concern to decrease the stress on hospital emergency rooms during this unprecedented time and to reduce possible exposure to COVID-19
Please do not hesitate to contact the clinic at 905-562-3511 and leave a message or send an email to info@vinelandphysio.com. All calls/emails will be answered within 12-24 hours. Also, visit the clinic’s website www.vinelandphysio.com for information about conditions and educational material.
